The stair builder Alber was bursting at the seams a few years ago and knew it was time to make substantial investments in the optimisation of their processes. This realisation and a close partnership with Compass Software resulted in the development of the MES solution PROKON, a comprehensive system for the management and control of all production processes. The manufacturing execution system was implemented at Alber Stairs in the spring of 2021. Within the first few months, the stair builder has been able to increase production considerably. All production processes are now clearly managed, effective, and optimised. Additionally, an innovative warehouse system has been added on the second level of his workshop.
