Extension Folders for Forms

All Compass Software users with the current release version can now consolidate different forms into a so-called folder in the template tree.

These folders make it possible to summarize several forms into one single PDF.

For example, it is possible to create a folder that contains an offer, a floor plan without measurements, and different 3D images, which can be shared with the end-customer. Another application would be to generate a folder that has component templates, parts lists, and cut lists for the shop floor. The possibilities are endless.

All Compass Software users with an up-to-date version can now consolidate different forms into a so-called folder in the template tree.

The folder function is selected via a right-click on the option “folder” in the template tree. A window will open where the user can assign different forms to the folder. The order in which the forms are added to the folder also designates the order in the final PDF document. Even forms that had not been generated before assigning them to the folder, will be generated automatically once they are added to the folder. The folder can then be exported as a multi-page PDF that contains all selected forms to a folder on the customer PC.

This extension is also available in the stair configurator where forms can also be consolidated into folders that can be downloaded.

Folders make it easier to share forms. All relevant information can be summarized concisely, printed together, and numbered consecutively. This way less documents get lost and the process can be automated.
