New partnership for Customer De Vries with Compass Software and RCD Stair Systems

Long-time customer De Vries Trappen begins a new partnership with RCD Stair Systems, whose system stairs are fully integrated with Compass Software.

De Vries Trappen in the Netherlands has been working with Compass Software for more than 20 years. The stair manufacturer does not bury their head in the sand during difficult economic times, but uses the time proactively to seize new opportunities. Thus, Compass Software organised a joint meeting with De Vries Trappen and RCD Stair Systems.

Ralf Carstens, owner of RCD Stair Systems, presented his system for different types of stairs, which was exactly what de Vries was looking for: An easy-to-use technique for building stairs with Z-riser treads, HPL stringers or a folded design. The sample fittings and pictures of finished staircases he brought with him provided excellent illustrative material.

The employees at De Vries took away many ideas on how to reach new customer groups with the different staircases in these designs. In times of skilled labour shortages, they are also looking to increase the automation of their production. This is exactly what the optimisations from Compass Software specialise in. Details from the design can be transferred to the CNC machine without loss.

At the end of the meeting, the team agreed to test the new stair types and launch them on the Dutch market. This will be done in close cooperation with all parties involved.

After the meeting, all participants were given a comprehensive insight into the very well-organised production at de Vries Trappen.

We are looking forward to the implementation of this new joint project.
