Presentation “Digitalisation and Automation” at the German Stair Building Days

CEO Lukas Hollinderbaeumer held a presentation on the topic of digitalisation and automation in stair building at the German Stair Building Days, organised by the German Association for Stair and Baluster Building, on March 11, 2023.

Lukas was able to introduce the topics of digitalisation, automation, and optimisation in stair building in front of a group of industry experts in great depth. He explained how Compass Software makes the areas of CAD, CAM, MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems), and projects much more efficient. Implementing a consistent digitalisation and automation of all processes helps stair builders grow significantly and makes them future proof. Furthermore, this process facilitates the increase of value added from resources, may it be materials or even labour.

Workshop layouts and production processes differ greatly between stair building companies. On top of this, it is not unusual to see different machines from different manufacturers that are utilised for various jobs during production.
