Automatic XML Interface for ERP Systems

The XML interface between Compass Software and various ERP Systems has been extended: It is now possible to import data automatically without manual work.

The extension of the interface makes it possible to automate the import of ERP data completely. To do this, Compass Software will constantly communicate with a PC that sends newly created orders in XML format with all information from the ERP system to CS. The orders are continually synchronized and are created automatically in Compass Software. No manual input necessary!

Compass Software has been offering an XML interface to ERP systems for some times now. This XML interface between the stair software and the chosen ERP system is managed manually and will continue to exist: It is used to import and export orders between the ERP system and Compass Software. The import/export is initiated manually by the user. Compass Software automatically creates a new order with all information that is included in the XML file, this includes details, such as:

  • Order name, stair name
  • Addresses
  • Delivery date
  • Cost calculation
  • Well hole measurements, Floor-to-floor measurements
  • Materials
  • Styles
  • Predefinitions
  • And more
