The customer has already been using Compass Software for more than 25 years. Their new Reichenbacher Vision III ST CNC machine is the 3. machine that will be controlled with our stair building software.
Next to all standard processes, our technicians also installed a laser and a barcode reader on the machine. The new barcode option makes it possible to produce flexible components – e.g., risers, treads, stringers, etc. – with alternating processing. This type of processing results in huge savings in time and increases in efficiency. By the end of the installation, the team was able to run all components through the machine smoothly. Thus, the stair builder was able to continue full-time production after only 11 days of production downtime.
