The Dutch CNC manufacturer CPI Trappen uses an innovative, self-designed work process to nest stair parts without the need for a specialized nesting machine. Owner Dennis de Zeeuw uses a standard 5 axis CNC machine and the Compass Software Plate Optimization 2.0 module. The manufacturer saves 20% in production time and about 20% in material. Dennis expects to double his production next year from six to twelve stairs per week.
