Compass Software at the Beckum Technical College

Sales representative Hermann Hasebrink introduced students of a wood technology class to the Compass Software program.

The lecture mainly focused on our stair manufacturing software and our MES software PROKON. The presentation gave the students an overview of how our software optimizes stair building and makes all processes more efficient. One highlight for the college students was the opportunity to try out the Microsoft HoloLens 2. The AR glasses make it possible to project virtual stairs into the real surroundings on different scales.

Compass Software has been visiting the wood technology class at the Beckum College for several years now. The technical college has been educating technicians since 1952. The course content covers a wide range of topics, among those, courses on CAD and CAM processing in the woodworking industry. We would like to thank the college for the opportunity to introduce the young technicians to the world of stair building software.
