Folded stairs are self-supporting stairs that appear to be made of one piece of wood. The treads and risers are usually made of the same material and have the same thickness. They are joined together tightly so that the seams are very inconspicuous and the stair looks like it is made of one piece of wood.

The design of folded stairs is easy and fast with Compass Software. We offer different connections at the top and bottom:
Connection tread/riser top
Connection tread/riser bottom
Grooves for glass infills in treads and risers (when using 5 axis machines).
The finished folded staircase can be transferred directly to the CNC machine (5 axis processing including Z-risers, 4 axis processing only 90°) or can be exported as a 1:1 template and in DXF format.
