Nesting with Compass Software

The system calculates the optimal arrangement of parts on each plate with the least amount of waste material possible. Plates are used to their maximum capacity.

The user can decide which parts to optimise. They can choose to nest only one type of part on one plate, such as treads for stair production, or mix different parts, such as treads, stringers, and risers.

The optimisation process is initiated with a single click. After a few seconds, a graphical representation of the optimised plate with the parts appears on the screen.
