New: Custom Infills Possible

Custom infills for handrails and panels underneath a staircase are now possible with Compass Software. Users can create custom infills with perforated plates, pattern plates, or similar.

Railing infills are a popular design element for stair builders. Infills create a custom-made look and elevate the staircase as a design object in the home.

It is now possible to design special infills in Compass Software (perforated plates, patterns, etc.).

The user is able to save different patterns in the data management. Circles, squares, or rhombus shapes can be inserted as part of a grid.

Additionally, it is possible to specify custom patterns via the free-form construction mode. The user can import DXF drawings, if desired.

During the design process, the user assigns the patterns to glass infills and/or panels. The glass infills, or respectively panels, will then be shown with the assigned pattern in the 3D view of the stair. This feature is available for handrail fillings and panels underneath a staircase.

The patterns can be printed as 1:1 templates or be cut through on the CNC machine directly.

By clickling on the pictures below, you can zoom, turn and view the stairs from all angles online:
