This setting is helpful when the stringer pocket has to be cut with an offset. This can happen if the tread material is thinner or thicker than originally set during design, e.g., because of varnish, etc. The user can input a positive or negative offset and the stringer will be smoothed either thinner or thicker.
This function adds more variations during the processing of the stringer pocket.
